One result of the participation or the support of the United States to Israel during the six-day war in 1967 was the victory of Israel over Egypt, Jordan and Syria. Although there were plenty Israelite casualties during the said war, Israel was still able to gain control of Gaza and Sinai which were occupied by Egyptians army to move closer towards Israel borders. Jerusalem was also regained from Jordan, as well as the Golan Heights from Syria.
