My oldest cousin is getting married, and she asked me to be a part of the wedding! She wants me to be the flower girl, even thou

gh I'm probably a little old for that job. I don't care. My cousin Cindy has always been my favorite cousin, and I'm just happy to be any part of her wedding at all--even if it's just cutting and passing out the wedding cake. Weddings can be very expensive if you don't keep a strict budget. As flower girl, I get to be a part of all the pre-wedding festivities--including the rehearsal, rehearsal dinner, and all the photographs. I'm most excited, though, about just getting to be in the room with my cousin as she gets ready to march down the aisle. The wedding is two months away, and I'm already so excited I can hardly wait!
Which sentence should be deleted from this paragraph to give it a stronger focus?

In "Will Wi-Fi Ruin Mount Everest?," what does the author value about being disconnected from the world?
antiseptic1488 [7]

The author values the perception of landscape and environment details with the disconnection from the world.

We can arrive at this answer because:

 • The author claims that internet connection access is increasingly prominent in the Himalayas.
 • This completely changed the way people walked around and enjoyed the region.
 • To reinforce this idea the author shows how his previous experiences when visiting the Himalayas.
 • He shows how with limited internet access and use, he was able to see more details and appreciate the environment more intensely.
 • Currently, this is no longer possible, as the internet promotes a desire to be connected and informed about everything that is happening in the universe.

Thus, the author recognizes that disconnecting from the world is necessary, as it will calm the desire for information and allow people to admire and pay attention to the region where they are.

1. What negative trait of Armida annoyed her friend, Amanda? A. selfish B. possessive C. demanding D. egoistic
astraxan [27]

The negative trait of Armida that irritated her friend was possessiveness, as shown in option B in the first question. The lesson Armida learned from the chicks was that if a chick is held too tightly, he will fight, as shown in option D.

What happened to Armida?

 • She took friendship very seriously.
 • She was possessive of her friend.
 • She didn't allow her friend to have other interests.

Armida proved to be a very suffocating friend. She was possessive of her friend and wanted that friend to always live up to what she wanted. This caused her friend to move away, which made her very sad.

When playing with chicks, she understood that if she holds a chick too tightly, the chick will pull away from her, just as she did with her friend.

What is the main idea of the book 'Driven'?(This is a school lastic book By: Joaquin Burns)
Alina [70]

Answer:

The theme of your story can be as broad as 'love' or 'loneliness' or as narrow as the idea that 'death is the unifying human experience'. It can also be a universal statement about humanity that an author investigates or explains through the course of a story.
