Functionalist sociological perspective emphasizes the role of reference groups in setting and enforcing standards of conduct and belief

Explanation:

The society is tied together by social accord, in which parts of the society accept upon, and act collectively to succeed, what is most beneficial for society as a unity is the view of Functionalists. Which quotation reflects the perspective of most Georgia legislators in 1956 regarding the Georgia state flag?
Mrrafil [7]

Answer:D

Explanation: Per the quotes of the flag designer John Sammons Bell, the 1956 State Flag was created to honor the Veterans of Georgia who were passing away in huge numbers, and it was to be a memorial to them and their service. Other politicians who helped get the flag changed stated the Flag should be adopted because no other state suffered so much as did Georgia because of Sherman's scorched Earth policy of the burning of Atlanta and March to the Sea.

The Flag change also was part of the lead up to the Civil War centennial initiated by President Eisenhower.
