Mr. Choe solved the inequality and his work is shown below. 3x+5≤−1 −5 −5 3x≤−6 ÷3 ÷3 x≥−2 Identify and explain Mr. Choe's error
Murljashka [212]

Answer:

x ≤ - 2

Step-by-step explanation:

Given the inequality :

3x+5≤−1

Subtract 5 from both sides

3x + 5 - 5 ≤ - 1 - 5

3x ≤ - 6

Divide both sides by 3

3x/3 ≤ - 6/3

x ≤ - 2

Mr.Choe's error was that he changed the inequality sign. The inequality sign in this case does not need to be changed.

I really don't understand on how to solve this
Aleks [24]
Hey there! :D

These are vertical angles. They have the same measure, so they are equal to each other.

6x+25= 2x+105

Subtract 25 on both sides.

6x=2x+80

Subtract 2x on both sides.

4x=80

Divide both sides by 4.

x=20

I hope this helps, and have a nice day!
