Answer:

Transform Boundaries

Explanation:

Transform Boundaries are where two plates move basically horizontal compared to one another. However, as they move friction increases and they sort of get locked up because of imperfections in the surfaces or subsurface.

When this pressure gives way, the plates 'pop' in this case causing an earthquake. These are the type of boundary movements which are most responsible for causing earthquakes, but other types of plate movements can also cause earthquakes; just not nearly as often as a Transform Boundaries will.

Sholpan [36]

Answer:

a. growing cities in the East

b.new railroads and refrigerated cars.

c.barbed-wire fences

Explanation:

The 1800s were a period of discovering economic potentials in the United States that saw many ventures being initiated. Coupled with new technologies, theses ventures such as meat production and mining, saw profits increase and became big businesses.

Cattle for example experienced a massive growth that was brought by the cities in the east growing in size and demanding more meat to feed their populations. This demand coupled with new railroads and refrigerated cars meant that the meat could be transported long distances to these cities without worrying about them getting spoiled.

Also, with improvements in barbed-wire technology, land-owning ranchers could prevent other livestock from grazing on their fields while they themselves allowed theirs to graze. This led to cows eating healthier and therefore having more meat.

In what way is the War Powers Resolution an example of checks and balances?
Delicious77 [7]
The War Powers Act was added onto the previous law known as the Gulf of Tonkin Resolution. This resolution granted the president the power to take any steps towards protecting the United States from attack. The War Powers Act later made it a law for the president to consult with congress within 48 hours of sending troops into a foreign conflict.

This is an example of checks and balances because it is intended to prevent giving the president total war power.

igor_vitrenko [27]

Answer:

Though Mussolini made more than one address, I will write about the one during October 1935.

Benito Mussolini's 1935 radio address influenced much of Rome at the time. Thousands of people tuned in to listen to the (then) leader of Italy's speech. The announcement addressed "fascism". Fascism is a type of rule, mainly categorized by dictatorial rule. Mussolini addressed both his agenda and plans for the country within the hour long speech and made sure to convey that his interests were in protecting his country and strengthening it against enemies. Many Italians found Mussolini's speech both moving and powerful which means that it can be considered as a type of propaganda.

Hope this helps! :)
