The answeer is b.$1000. I got this by taking the 2,500 dollars and dividing it by 5 since the seventh graders raised 2/5 of the total raised. Then i added 1/5 of the 2,500(which was 500) and added another 1/5 to get 2/5.

Mnenie [13.5K]

Answer:

Eight students won 6, 7, or 8 gold medals.

Step-by-step explanation:

We see that the third bin is labelled 6 - 8. Since this is on the horizontal, or x, axis, this means that the students in this "bin" have won 6 - 8 medals, which is the same as saying winning 6, 7, or 8 medals.

Because this "bin" goes to 8, that means that there are 8 students who earned this many medals.

Thus, the answer is D.

Hope this helps!

An item is regularly priced at $80. Juan bought It at a discount of 20% off the regular price. How much did Juan pay?
Gnesinka [82]
Hello there! So, the item has a 20% discount, but Juan still had to pay 80% for the item. To find the amount he paid, all you have to do is multiply the price by the percentage. We multiply by 80%, because he still had to pay the portion of the price. 80 * 80% (0.8) is 64. The. Juan paid $64.

Sixty percent of the customers who go to Sears Auto Center for tires buy four tires and 22% buy two tires. Moreover, 14% buy few
Bezzdna [24]

Answer:

There is a 4% probability that a customer buys three tires.

Step-by-step explanation:

We have those following percentages

60% buy four tires. This is also the probability that someone buys four tires.

22% buy two tires

14% buy fewer than two tires(one or none).

P% buy three tires

The sum of the percentages must be 100%.

So

60 + 22 + 14 + P = 100

96 + P = 100

P = 4

There is a 4% probability that a customer buys three tires.
