Answer:

A) The allusions show that the police and the skinheads share a common language based on their race.

Explanation:

Allusion is mainly added by author to refer to a certain situation or to create a context where they are related to another situation in the current play or script. This reference is often indirect and this is why it is regarded as an allusion. In the given question which is from Midsummer of Derek Walcott, the passage that refers to allusion is the Garden of Eden which highlights that nothing stays the same for all times and that times change.

An editor can express a bias by choosing to use or not to use a specific news item. What kind of bias is this
s2008m [1.1K]

A type of bias, that editors can commonly undergo while choosing which news item to use, is known as Bias through Selection and Omission.

  • By deciding whether to use a certain news story or not, an editor might demonstrate prejudice.
  • To give readers or viewers a new perspective on the events being reported, some details in a tale may be neglected while others may be included.
  • The selecting procedure involves both media distributors and viewers equally.
  • Where a person goes to get their media has bias built into it through selection and omission.
  • This is due to the fact that an individual is unable to consume all available media and points of view.

From the above, it is clear that the correct answer is Bias through Selection and Omission.

Why are command economies usually less efficient than market economies?
Liono4ka [1.6K]
I can give you my take on it:

In command economies the quantity and more importantly the prize of the products is decided by the government and not by the people in production. As a result, people in the production can't have the motivation of producing more, as they won't benefit from it. So command economy encourages low motivation among the workers (i believe this was the case in the Eastern Block)
