Which type of forest has been most affected by human actions throughout history?
barxatty [35]

Answer:

Tropical rain forest has been most affected by human actions throughout history.

Explanation:

Human actions and inaction have had a devastating effect on the ecosystem. Human actions like deforestation, combustion of fossil fuels, bush burning,  use of deadly fertilizers, herbicides and insecticides, etc, had all affected the ecosystem and led to increased depletion of the Ozone layers, thus leading to global warming. These human activities have affected water, food and energy production over the years. They have resulted in environmental degradation and reduced the soil quality. Of all the forests affected by the effect of these human action, the tropical rain forest, which is notable for abundance of rainfall, wildlife and vegetation appears to be the most affected by these human actions. Global warming has led to climate change, and has thus affected global rainfall.

1. I believe the answer is 3

You just need to see and compare it with the given picture

The Vertical Line  |   represent number of Stores.
The horizontal line _ represent number of Apartments.
Take a look at point E.
When the apartment is 9, the stores that they could build is 3.

2. I believe the answer is 6.
In point C, the company produces 6 Apartments and 7 Stores. If the company want to build 3 more stores it would become 10 stores.
Take a look at point A. Where the stores are 10, the company cannot build any appartment, which means that they had to sacrifice all 6 from point C.

The Stamp Act was passed in 1774 as punishment for the Boston Tea Party. The Stamp Act shut down Boston Harbor. True False
Alinara [238K]

Answer:

False

Explanation:

The Boston Tea party was an American protest initiated by the Sons of Liberty in Boston Harbor, 1773.

The Stamp act of 1765 was a taxation law enacted by congress with the intention to profit off of colonial taxation.

The Stamp act of 1765 was not a repercussion of the Boston Tea party but rather a benefactor of the Boston Tea party. The Stamp Act and many other  taxations imposed by the British parliament seemed unfair to the American colonists; they felt they had no voice or opinion due to there being no colonist representatives in parliament. Naturally, they revolted (The Boston tea party) in defiance against taxations. The Boston tea party had an enormous impact spreading feelings of patriotism and independence nationwide, ultimately sparking the American Revolution.

I hope this clears things up.

Which idea did Wilson oppose during the treaty meetings at Versailles
galina1969 [7]

C. Reparations from Germany.

The Versailles Peace Conference (1919–20) aimed to set the terms in which for defeated Germany. It resulted in the treaty of Versailles, which established Germany as the aggressor and responsible for causing WW I, and consequently, made it the one who had to pay for all the damages, losses and reparations to the Allies countries.

Most of the treaty didn't represent President Wilson's vision, expressed in his Fourteen Points speech (January 1918). He was an advocator of achieving peace between nations by bringing justice to all nationalities, which included to not treat too harshly the defeated Central Powers. Demanding Germany to pay for reparations was a harsh measure that later contributed to the weakening of German's economy.
