How you make a mixed number is

1) See how many times the denominator (bottom number) can go into the numerator (top number). This will be the coefficient. In our case 3 can go into 13, 4 times. (3*4=12)

2) Then you put whatever is leftover as the numerator

3) Finally you keep the original denominator

So, your mixed number should be 4 1/3

If c | b and a||c, what is ∠2?
kupik [55]
Since a is parallel to c and c is perpendicular to b, than a is also perpendicular to b.

perpendicular lines create right angles, so angle 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 .7 & 8 are all right angles.
A right angle = 90 degrees.

Angle 2 = 90 degrees.

Which of the following best explains whether or 1 is the better estimate of
Ne4ueva [31]

Answer:

 D 36 is closer to 40 than to 20

Step-by-step explanation:

The correct explanation is the one that is true. All except D are false statements.

_____

Additional comment

One of the "test-taking skills" that you need to learn is that multiple-choice answers that make false statements can be immediately rejected. (You don't even need to check to see if they answer the question.)

Of course, there are occasional questions that ask you to find the false statement on the list. In those cases, you reject the true ones.
