2 3/5 as an improper fraction would be 13/5

In order to get that you first multiply the whole number (2) by the denominator (5) and get 10

Then you add the numerator (3) to the number you just got (10) which is 13 and that becomes your numerator and you keep 5 as your denominator.

2\dfrac{3}{5}=\dfrac{2\cdot5+3}{5}=\dfrac{13}{5}

Multiply the denominator by the whole and add to the numerator

Someone please help me with this
yan [13]

Answer:

D: 0.75(7)+1.25b\leq 22

Step-by-step explanation:

As Julia only has $22.00, she cannot spent more than that. This means that the equation must have

\leq 22

We also know that b is the variable that represents the bottle of juice which costs $1.25. So the equation must have 1.25b within it.

Given these two criteria we have found the answer must be

D: 0.75(7)+1.25b\leq 22
