-- 3/4 is the same thing as 6/8. 7/8 is more than 6/8.

-- 1/3 is the same thing as 3/9, so neither one is greater.

-- 3/4 is the same thing as 9/12 .
 2/3 is the same thing as 8/12.

 So 3/4 is more than 2/3.

Write the slope-intercept form of the equation that passes through the point (1,5) and is perpendicular to the line y =-x + 3
Diano4ka-milaya [45]

Answer:

y = -1/7x - 23/7

Step-by-step explanation:

Step 1: Find slope m

m = (-4 + 3)/(5 + 2)

m = -1/7

y = -1/7x + b

Step 2: Find b

-3 = -1/7(-2) + b

-3 = 2/7 + b

b = -23/7

Step 3: Rewrite equation

y = -1/7x - 23/7

Answer:

Unlikely

Step-by-step explanation:

A ferry is a large ship that carries passengers and loads on water.

A ferry rarely sinks. Infact, the United States experience very low cases of shipwreck yearly. According to wikipedia in 2018, not more than 200 shipwrecks happened all over the world compared to a great number of operations that year.

Therefore, based on statistics, the ferry is unlikely to sink.
