If the Olive Branch Petition was honored, the American colonists and Great Britain would have continued their relationship. This would mean the following events would have most likely not occurred.

1) American Revolutionary War. - All of the battles that took place after July 1775 (when the Olive Branch Petition was adopted) would have not taken place.
2) Declaration of Independence- America wouldn't have declared themselves an independent nation if they worked out their problems with the British.

3) Articles of Confederation- This constitution was created as a means to unite the American colonists in their fight against the British government/military.

Which weapon marked the beginning of modern naval warfare? A.he rifled gun B.the ironclad C.the cannon
Harlamova29_29 [7]

Answer: B. The ironclad

Explanation:

The main battle between ironclads occurred on 9 March 1862, as the defensively covered Monitor was conveyed to shield the Union's wooden armada from the ironclad smash Virginia and Confederate warships. With the clash of Hampton Roads, maritime fighting changed forever. Ironclads were warships intended to be impenetrable to foe shot and shell by the excellence of their iron-shielded wooden structures.

Different names for these boats incorporate rams, defensive layer clads, iron gophers, iron elephants, iron pine boxes, turtle-backs, and mud-smashers. So incredible were the ironclads that they upset an ancient axiom of naval warfare that forts were stronger than ships.
