Lincoln Issues the Emancipation Proclamation. One month later, after the capable Union victory in the Battle of Antietam, Lincoln issued a prior proclamation ominous that in all states still in rebellion on January one eighteen sixty-three, he would declare their slaves then, thenceforward, and forever free.

There are many religions and philosophies which are clearly monotheistic. Mono is a prefix meaning "one", so monotheistic means one being/god.

Some examples would be Christianity, Judaism or Islam. These are all fairly clear so there isn't much verification needed, although there are many online organizations to use as reference.
