Your answer would be B, the formation of gametes.

Meiosis creates four daughter cells from one parent cell. The daughter cells all have one half of the chromosomes the parent cell does; 23.

These daughter cells can be gametes - cells that when reuniting with one from an opposite gender from reproduction, they form a zygote. When recombining, the 23 chromosomes join with the other 23 to form the original 46 chromosomes, giving the child genes from both parents and a full set of chromosomes.

Hope this helped!

In insects what does hemi metabolism indicate
ArbitrLikvidat [17]

The hemi metabolism indicates the three distinct stages of the life cycle of some insects: the egg, nymph, and the adult stage, or imago. It has no pupal stage just like the complete metamorphosis that undergoes pupal stage before turning into adult. Insects that undergo hemi metabolous metamorphosis go through gradual changes; develop from eggs into nymphs sometimes called larvae by some entomologists, that are similar in shape to the adults. You can distinguish the nymphs from the adults by looking for wings. Wing buds or wing pads may be present in late stage nymphs, but they are fixed in place against the body and are non-functional compared to the adults whose wings are fully developed.

Abnormalities present in the cells that line the uterus may prevent the production of offspring by directly interfering with whi
Dmitry [639]

Answer: Implantation

Explanation:

The uterus is the main site for the implantation of the embryo. It is the place where the embryo spends 9 months in the mother.

When the male and female gamete combine they form a zygote. It gets implanted in the uterus and then there is cell division and the development of embryo takes place there only.

Any abnormalities in this region will interfere in the process of implantation.
