Answer:

B.) The incident reveals how the increasingly dire situation is affecting people’s sanity.

D.) The incident conveys that Wiesel must be wary of danger posed to him by his fellow prisoners, as well as by the German guards.

In Night, Elie Wiesel recounts his memories of the concentration camps in which he was a prisoner from 1944-45. When telling the incident of the man attempting to strangle him, the author is trying to introduce two themes. First, the author wants to show how horrible situations, such as being in a concentration camp, can so affect people that they start behaving in cruel and irrational ways. Second, the author wants to show how, while being in the camps, you needed to be aware of the danger posed by both the guards and your fellow prisoners.

kompoz [17]

Answer:

It places Truth in a position of moral superiority.

Explanation:

This is an example of ethos used in a quotation. Truth is shown as strong women.

In metaphor, she describes her as a plant in a barn. She is struggling, suffering but she is showing that she can handle everything. Seen herself as a persistent and brave woman, she knows that " no man could head me". This part of a quotation tells that she is in a position of moral superiority.

She does not need a man to be her support. The author shows the reader Truth is a powerful woman.

Answer:

An animal

A banana

An accident

A teacher

A school

Explanation:

"A" and "An" are articles, which are a class of words that specify a noun within a sentence. Knowing when you will use "a" or "an" is very simple and you will only need to look at the first letter of the word that is written after these articles. If this word starts with a consonant, you must use the article "a," if the word starts with a vowel, you must use the article "an."

Many people leave their home towns and move to different cities to study, for work, for business or for better lifestyle. The first thing they need in the new city is a place to stay. Given that it’s not easy to buy a home to live in as soon as you move to a new city, especially in metros, most people tend to take a flat on rent. But before you take a property on rent, it is prudent to know the terms and conditions and execute a rent agreement.

A rent agreement ensures you have legal recourse later in case there is a problem between you and your landlord, which is why it’s important to be careful about the clauses included in the agreement. Here are a few must-have clauses for the rent agreement.
