When x varies inversely with y then you'll have
xα1/y
x=k/y where k is the proportionality constant
when x=8. y=10. k=?
8=k/10
make k the subject of the formula
k=10×8
k=80.

When x=6. y=?.k=80
6=80/y
Make y the subject of the formula
y=80/6
y=40/3

(-4,2) (5,0) midpoint
Archy [21]

Answer:

M = (0.5, 1)

Step-by-step explanation:

The midpoint can be found using the formula: x, y = (\frac{x_2+x_1}{2}, \frac{y_2 + y_1}{2})

So plugging in the values we get: M = (\frac{-4+5}{2}, \frac{2+0}{2})\\M = (\frac{1}{2}, \frac{2}{2})\\M = (0.5, 1)
