Answer:

B) Jews and Christians grew closer

Explanation:

The Crusades brought together different layers of the population of countries and brought together all European nationalities. Europeans came to be aware of themselves as a whole. At the same time, Europeans, having become closely acquainted with the peoples of the East, clarified two important features. The first one is that the peoples of the East are not wild barbarians and backward pagans. In culture and customs, they were higher than European aliens. The second one is that the peoples of the West began to realize their national characteristics. They abandoned religious prejudices and learned to see people like themselves in other nations. Jews escaped from the pogroms of the crusaders, taking refuge in royal castles. Conrad III granted Jews refuge in his ancestral lands (Nuremberg and others); the bishop of Cologne placed at their disposal the Valkenburg fortress, in which the Jews defended themselves against the crusaders with weapons in their hands. Many Jews maintained personal contacts with Christian scholars, traders, and customers, while learning from them and sharing their experiences and knowledge with them. Slowly but inexorably, the center of Jewish history was shifting to the West, because the basic socio-economic and cultural realities were stronger than psychological biases.

List and describe the four major threats to global security.
Pepsi [2]

Answer:

Global Terrorism, Governmental Instability, Overseas Conflict, Kidnap & Extorion

Explanation:

Global terrorism is an unfortunate reality of our time. These indiscriminate and targeted acts can result from multiple terrorist organizations, small groups, or  individuals. These attacks can attack any individual, entity, or company at any time and can target anywhere in the world.

The constant pace of the modern world and the unpredictability of national, regional, and global development can lead to regional  or national events with short-term, widespread consequences. Partly due to diplomatic and government failure in certain areas and accessibility to information and communications available to governments, public sources, opposition political organizations and the general public.

Armed conflict is intensifying in many  parts of the world, and without exception, in many parts of the world, it has continued in some way uninterrupted after both World Wars. In this modern era, there are more than 280 different armed conflicts around the world, with  conflicts between 3052 and 3052 each in the last 20 years.

More than 21,000 abductions are reported worldwide each year, 26%  in Africa, 24% in Latin America, 16% in the Middle East, and 3%  in North America and Europe combined. However, these numbers are growing rapidly and continue to pose a threat around the world.

How we’re all of the English colonies in America the same?
Goshia [24]

Answer:

Explanation:

At the start of the seventeenth century, the English had not established a permanent settlement in the Americas. Over the next century, however, they outpaced their rivals. The English encouraged emigration far more than the Spanish, French, or Dutch. They established nearly a dozen colonies, sending swarms of immigrants to populate the land. England had experienced a dramatic rise in population in the sixteenth century, and the colonies appeared a welcoming place for those who faced overcrowding and grinding poverty at home. Thousands of English migrants arrived in the Chesapeake Bay colonies of Virginia and Maryland to work in the tobacco fields. Another stream, this one of pious Puritan families, sought to live as they believed scripture demanded and established the Plymouth, Massachusetts Bay, New Haven, Connecticut, and Rhode Island colonies of New England.
