if you can get it back, its suspended, but if its permanently taken away, it has been revoked.

Suspended: this means that your license is temporarily out of service, and there are two types, definite suspensions (this means that the suspension last for some given time) and indefinite suspensions (Are those that require an action in order to be finished, like paying for a traffic ticket or things like that)

Revoked: This means that your license has been canceled and can't be reinstated.  In order to get a license again, you need to follow some steps that may depend on the country or state that you are in.

This very much depends on your school, but a common rule for most is that you must pass all of your classes no matter what you choose.

In some states there are state tests you must pass to graduate as well. For me, I had to take an Algebra State Test to pass 9th and continue.
