Answer:
Step-by-step explanation:
Select all of the object sets that could be modelled by perpendicular lines.
A perpendicular line is one that divides a 180 degrees line (or a straight line) into two; creating 90 degrees on one hand and 90 degrees on the other.
OPTIONS:
(A) APPLICABLE
Two roads that meet at an intersection can be modelled by perpendicular lines. Use the definition above as a yardstick.
(B) APPLICABLE
The top of the desk to the floor will represent the dividing line while the floor itself will be the 180° line.
(C) NOT APPLICABLE
A tree and its shadow on the ground will only form a right-angled triangle
(D) NOT APPLICABLE
Two stars seen in the sky cannot be modelled by perpendicular lines. They can only be modelled by a straight line; a line which extends from the first star to the other.
Answer:
D
:) Hope this helps.
Step-by-step explanation:
Answer:
P(Y) = 18/720 = 0.025
P(P) = 16/720 = 0.022
P(B) = 6/720 = 0.0083
Step-by-step explanation:
I couldn't find the options but I will try to help you considering that the question is about probabilities.
Let the events be:
- Y = a yellow flower is selected
- P = a pink flower is selected
- B = a blue flower is selected
We can define the probability of an event X as:
P(X) = number of favorable outcomes for event X / total number of outcomes
The total number of outcomes is 720 (total number of flowers in the piece of fabric).
When selected one flower at random from the fabric, the probability that a yellow flower is selected is:
P(Y) = 18/720 = 0.025
When selected one flower at random from the fabric, the probability that a pink flower is selected is:
P(P) = 16/720 = 0.022
When selected one flower at random from the fabric, the probability that a blue flower is selected is:
P(B) = 6/720 = 0.0083

My parents had been fighting since I was a kid. I am 14 now and they still argue every single time. As a teenager, I know there was nothing that I can do. So I made the decision to go to boarding school during high school and now I am studying at oversea university just to get away from them. Don't get me wrong, I love them very much but constantly being in the middle of a fight, I just can't take it anymore. My brother is 13 and I am really glad that he is going to boarding school. It is his own decision and I actually feel sorry for him because I had to left him when I was in high school. We are very close to each other but I had never talk to him about our parents. I'm just waiting for the good time and I believe at these age, he can handle serious discussion. The only peaceful moments that I had at home are mostly the time that I spent with him without my parents. We love to go out just to eat ice cream ,went shopping or just watching cartoons at home. I really miss him. Back to my point, being away from my parents and house is really working for me and I enjoy not having someone arguing with each other 24/7.
