The qualitative-quantitavtive debate can trigger an intense debate. To say that one or the other approach is better is a trivializing of a far more complex topic than a dichotomous choice. ... Qualitative data typically consists of words while quantitative data consists of numbers.

How do the daughter cells at the end of mitosis and cytokinesis compare with their parent cell when it was in G 1 of the cell cy
Vikentia [17]

Answer:

b. The daughter cells have the same number of chromosomes and the same amount of DNA.

Explanation:

Mitosis is the cell division that maintains the DNA amount and chromosome number in daughter cells. This is due to the fact that each mitosis is preceded by one round of DNA replication in S phase.

For example, if the parent cell had 2n DNA in 46 chromosomes, the daughter cells at the end of mitosis and cytokinesis would also have 2n DNA in 46 chromosomes.

Paper burns by combining with oxygen. why doesnt paper burn every time it contacts oxygen
kozerog [31]
When a fire is lit, it releases CO2 which will allow the combustion reaction to occur. When a fire is lit, energy is being emitted causing the paper to burn in contact with oxygen. The paper doesn't light up when in usual contact with oxygen because there's not energy fueling the reaction to occur.

Tides are caused by the suns and the moons gravity pulling water away from the planet. When the sun, moon and earth are at right
Sunny_sXe [5.5K]

Answer:

When the sun, moon and earth are at right angles, this is called a neap tide.

When the sun, moon, and earth are parrallel to each other, this is called a spring tide.

Explanation:

There are two types of tides spring tide and neap tide.

A spring tide occurs when the sun and moon are parallel to each other. This usually happens during periods of full and new moon, which are the moments that the moon can form a straight line with the sun, causing the gravitational force to interfere with the tide.

The neap tide, on the other hand, happens when the sun, moon and earth are at right angles. This moment occurs between the waxing and waning moons, where the sun and moon are at right angles and the earth is used as a vertex of that angle. In this type of tide the gravity of the sun becomes more influential than that of the moon.
