Victor Frankenstein goes to university in Germany, in Ingolstadt.He meets a pfofessor there, Waldman .After s lecture by the professorm  his interest in chemistry grows.He is fascinated by the mystery of the creation of life and starts thinking about embarking on a project connected with anatomy and how the human body behaves.He hides in his apartment and becomes obsessed with his idea: he wants to create life.He spends hours on end , without eating, sleeping and what is worse, he does not write to his family, which worries them a lot.He does not look right, he is pale, thin and he is fixated in the comletion of his project.
