In the Cambridge dictionary "implore" is defined: showing in a very emotional way that you want someone to do something for you.

In this case Josephine asks Mrs. Mallard to open the door, she is very worried because fo all the emotions she is having. Josephine knows that her sister has a heart trouble and she thinks she is extremely sad fo Mr. Mallard's death. She desperately wants to enter the room to confort her sister as she could die form a heart attack.

As we can see, the definition above suites this case because of all the emotions shown by Josephine.

“Forget sad things”, said George
Anettt [7]

Answer:

C, the inability to focus on difficult problems

Explanation:

In the excerpt, instead of dealing with things that are sad, Hazel chooses to forget them. In the excerpt there is no evidence that her choice to forget sad things is logical as it may well be a logical choice to deal with the situation. This interaction does not have many words, but we also don't know from the excerpt if it lacks any quality. Quality and quantity are not the same thing. There is not evidence of government interference.
