Answer:

            Inside cell there is an important organelle known as golgi apparatus or golgi complex. It was discovered by Camillo Golgi in 1898. It is composed of flattened sacs which are stacked with each other, and associated transport vesicles. together they are known as golgi apparatus. it has a cis face towards endoplasmic reticulum to which new vesicles coming from ER combine and a trans face from where vesicles are separated and travel where they are needed.

Golgi apparatus is responsible fro modification, packaging and transport of materials.
