Answer:

c. Byronic hero

Explanation:

Mr Rochester has the features of a Byronic hero.  This  clashes with the conventional figure of the hero. Mr Rochester is not good looking. He has a dark and mysterious side. He is also troubled but  intellectual. He is not humble, on the contrary, he sounds too arrogant.  He is sexually intense, in fact, he wants to hold Jane Eyre as his wife or even as his mistress; he is not interested in social conventions.

Read this excerpt from "The Song of the Old Mother" by William Butler Yeats.
IgorLugansk [536]

Answer:

The answer is:  A) <u>The rhyme scheme supports the narrator’s complaint of monotony.</u>

Explanation:

This excerpt is basically explaining a routine; however it doesn't seem as to be enjoying it or being cheerful about it, justyfing this, we can see a modal verb there, "must" which implies obligation; so this is the reasin wht letter B isn't possible. This excerpt isn't humorous as well, adjectives and nouns are used in a simple manner, nothing humorous to see, as well as no emotional outburst for, again, simple words are used, nothing to exaggerate being humorous or emotional, this is why letter C and D aren't correct. On the other hand we have letter A which is basically what a routine is about "monotony".

How was "The Blank Slate" Theory disproven???
garik1379 [7]

Answer:

\huge\blue{\mid{\fbox{\tt{ answer: }}\mid}}

According to blank slate theory, the mind is completely blank at birth. From there, education, environment, and experiences – which are external, as well as material and/or immaterial – shape the child's process of development. This leaves a lasting effect on who they become.
