How did its location help Kush become.a powerful kingdom

The Kush kingdom was an ancient kingdom located in the south part of what is known nowadays as Nubia. More exactly, it was settled between the second waterfall of the Nile and the confluence of the Blue Nile and the White Nile.  

Due to its location in the Nile valley, this kingdom had the chance to be in a  strategic point in terms of geographic, which helped it to become in a powerful and wealthy kingdom.

Its location was really important in order to be powerful because it offered the kingdom a great number of raw materials; among which gold was one of them.
