The correct answer is A) people had nothing to trade because only the emperor owned property.

Trade wasn't an important part of the economy of the Inca because people had nothing to trade because only the emperor owned property.

The Inca were one of the most important civilizations in South America in Prehispanic times. They settled in the mountains called "Anders" in Peru and built the impressive city of Macchu Pichu. People lived in modest houses made of stone and as they lived in the mountains, they worked as farmers to make a living building "terraces," portions of flat land where they could grow crops.

notka56 [123]

The correct answer is C) the poor and oppressed.

In its early years, Christianity spread throughout the Roman Empire because its teaching appealed especially to the poor and oppressed.

After Roman Emperor established the Christian religion as the official one through the Roman Empire, the doctrine was easily accepted by the poor and oppressed people because they saw many similarities between the life of Jesus of Nazareth and their own lives of suffering and pain.

Indeed, there was not a real opposition to Christianity and that is why, with the acceptance of the people, the Roman Empire could establish better control of its territories through the presence and teachings of religion.

Which statement about the Mayan murals at San bartolo is true?
EleoNora [17]

Answer:

C) They depict Maya religious beliefs

Explanation:

Sao Bartolo is the oldest Mayan site that is found so far. It is not a big site, but it is very important because it has multiple well preserved mural paintings that depict the religious beliefs of the Maya. The oldest ones are traced back to the third century BC. The murals are very obviously heavily influenced by the Olmec culture, and it is well known that the Maya culture used the Olmec culture as its basis. The site is located in the northern part of Guatemala, and apart from the murals it has several interesting relatively well preserved architectural structures. The Aztecs never managed to get hold of this territory, but even if they did they would have not destroyed it as their culture is largely based on the Mayan one, especially when it came to religion. The only real threats to the site were the natural conditions and the Spanish conquistadors.
