The correct answer is A) people had nothing to trade because only the emperor owned property.

Trade wasn't an important part of the economy of the Inca because people had nothing to trade because only the emperor owned property.

The Inca were one of the most important civilizations in South America in Prehispanic times. They settled in the mountains called "Anders" in Peru and built the impressive city of Macchu Pichu. People lived in modest houses made of stone and as they lived in the mountains, they worked as farmers to make a living building "terraces," portions of flat land where they could grow crops.

Anna007 [38]

The American soldiers are seen applauding suggests that the artist of the painting is most likely an American .

Answer: Option B

Explanation:

The picture suggests that it was painted by an American because there are American soldiers and people in the background who are applauding when the flag is being hoisted. This means that the picture is taken from the American War of Independence.

The picture might symbolize victory over a particular war or celebration of the independence of the thirteen colonies which were occupied by the British as below the American flag there is the Union Jack i.e., the flag of the United Kingdom .
