Answer:

The boiling of water in the iron pan is the activity in which both conduction and convention are used.

Explanation:

Energy is transferred from one part of the matter to other part in three ways:

  • Conduction
  • Convection.
  • Radiation.

Conduction is the movement of heat from the collision of the microscopic particles in the matter.

While convection is the transfer from the movement of fluids from one place to another.

In the water boiling activity, the pan is heated by the flame from taking the energy in the collision of atoms in the pan and the energy is transferred into the whole pan and eater molecules. This is conduction while in pan water movement from the bottom to top of pan is by convection.

Answer with Explanation

The transfer of heat through molecules is known as conduction, so the radiator that contains energy is being transferred into the air molecules in contact with it and gradually when these air molecules start getting hotter, they vibrate vigorously and as they get heat up, they become less dense. This is because the air gets less dense, it will rise above the present air that is relatively cooler and denser which means it is heavier than the air that is heated. This concludes that there is a Convection taking place.

These are called multiallelic traits. If GGHHII was crossed with gghhii, what would the genotype for every offspring be?
GenaCL600 [577]

Answer:

In the crossing of individuals with multiallelic traits, the crossing of a GGHHII individual with a gghhii individual would produce offspring of hybrid individuals for all three traits whose genotype would be GgHhIi (option c).

Explanation:

The individuals GGHHII and gghhii are pure lines for each of the traits —multiallelic traits— they express, one of them having the three dominant traits and the other three recessive traits. The product of crossing two pure lines with dominant and recessive traits is an offspring of 100% heterozygous individuals.

This can be tested by making a Punnett square for this cross:

GGHHII X gghhii

Alleles GHI GHI

ghi GgHhIi GgHhIi

ghi GgHhIi GgHhIi

Thus the offspring in the cross of two individuals, dominant and recessive, for multiallelic traits G, H and I is GgHhIi

Vagina in the sex of the female
The urethra is a duct which is shared between the urinary system and the testis. It is located into the penis (it passes both sperms and urine)
Testis means the testicles, where spermatozoids are produced.
Fallopian tube, join between the ovary and the uterus of the female, it looks like an elephant trunk
Vas deferens: are the ducts between the testis and the prostate, it transports the spermatozoid and will be mixed with the prostatic secretion (sperm).
