$13.04 (Money.msn website, November 7, 2012). A sample of 100 neighborhood restaurants showed a mean price of $12.75 and a standard deviation of $2 for a comparable restaurant meal.a. Develop appropriate hypotheses for a test to determine whether the sample data support the conclusion that the mean cost of a restaurant meal is less than fixing a comparable meal at home.H0: - Select your answer-greater than or equal to 13.04greater than 13.04less than or equal to 13.04less than 13.04equal to 13.04not equal to 13.04Item 1Ha: - Select your answer-greater than or equal to 13.04greater than 13.04less than or equal to 13.04less than 13.04equal to 13.04not equal to 13.04

If triangle ABC is similar to triangle DEC, find the values of x and y.
Mumz [18]

The values are x=8 and y=35, if the given ΔABC and ΔDEC are equal, it is obtained by Pythagoras theorem.

Step-by-step explanation:

The given are,

           From ΔABC,

                    AB= 6

                    BC= 10

                    AC = x

           From ΔDEC,

                    CD= 28

                    DE= 21

                    CE = y

Step:1

        Pythagoras theorem from  ΔABC,

                    BC^{2}=AB^{2} + AC^{2}...............(1)

       Substitute the values,

                   10^{2} = 6^{2} + AC^{2}

                  100 = 36 + AC^{2}

                   AC^{2} = 100 - 36

                           = 64

                    AC = \sqrt{64}

                    AC = 8

                  AC = x = 8

Step:2

        Pythagoras theorem for ΔDEC,

               CE^{2} = CD^{2}  + DE^{2}................(2)

       From the values,

              CE^{2} = 28^{2} + 21^{2}

             CE^{2} = 784 + 441

                     = 1225

              CE = \sqrt{1225}

              CE = 35

             CE = y = 35

Result:

         The values are x=8 and y=35, if the given ΔABC and ΔDEC are equal.

Please answer this question, ONLY IF YOU KNOW THE ANSWER. No guessing, 20 points and brainliest!
Anika [276]

B. 3. Because if you have two people rolling a six sided die, with odd and even number contributions, you would divide 6 by 2. This is because there are TWO people going for TWO different types of numbers, odd and even. 6/2 gives us 3.

Hope this helps :)

Your test scores are 75, 93, 90, 82 and 85. What is the lowest score you can obtain on the next test to achieve an average of at
Korvikt [17]
You’ll need a total of 86x6= or 516 total points to meet your average of at least 86. Now subtract out your current scores: 516- 75-93-90-82-85 = 91. You’ll need 91 to meet the 516 total requirement.
