Answer:

The scientists believe that they arose in Africa and spread to the rest of the world.

Explanation:

A is not correct because the Homo sapiens is not the earliest ancestor of moern humans, but it is the latest.

B is not correct because such evidence is lacking, and even though the Homo sapiens mixed with other hominids in Eurasia and sub-Saharan Africa, they were not of the same species.

C is correct because the evidence suggests for now that the Homo sapiens arose in Africa, and through several migration waves spread out on the other continents.

Is the earth getting hotter because we are getting to the center of the universe
tankabanditka [31]

The Earth is not getting hotter because it is getting to the center of the universe.

There's two main reasons as to why the Earth is getting hotter:

1. Natural cycle

We are in a period when the Earth is in between glaciation, with one of them being behind us, and the other one being in the future. In the period in between, the Earth has the tendency to become warmer and warmer because of the change of the composition of the atmosphere, as well as the ocean currents.

2. Human activity

The people have been contributing for the increase in the warming process in the past century, and that has been done with the large release of CO2 and methane in the atmosphere. These two gases are gases that trap more heat in the atmosphere, thus resulting in an increase of the Greenhouse effect.

How can the extent of fault rupture during an earthquake be converted into a measurement of average fault slip of displacement o
Anna71 [15]

Answer:

Fault rupturing by the earthquake is largely governed by the Elastic rebound theory. In geology, the elastic rebound theory is an explanation of how energy is released during an earthquake. It explains that as rocks on opposite side of the fault are subjected to some force and shift.

They gather energy and deform slowly unless their internal strength increases causing a sudden movement occurs along the fault. This results in the releasing of the accumulated energy and rocks move back to their original but unreformed shape.
