-2/5x + 3 = 1/5x + 11

-2/5x - 1/5x = 11- 3

(-2 -1)/5x =8

-3/5x = 8

- 3= 40x

x = -3/40

Jake earns $7.50 per hour working at a local car wash. The function, ƒ(x) = 7.50x, relates the amount Jake earns to the number o
torisob [31]

For this case we have the following function:

f(x) = 7.50x

An equivalent way to write this function is:

y = 7.50x

From here, we clear the value of x.

We have then:

x = \frac{y}{7.50}

Returning the variables we have that the inverse of the function is:

f (x) ^ - 1 =\frac{x}{7.50}

Answer:

the inverse of this relation is:

f (x) ^ - 1 =\frac{x}{7.50}

Does anyone know what the slope for C = 22.5 - (1/160)m
Lunna [17]

The slope of the linear equation, C = 22.5 - (\frac{1}{160}) m, is: -\frac{1}{160}

<em><u>Recall:</u></em>

  • A linear equation in slope-intercept form is given as: <em>y = mx + b.</em>
  • "m" is the slope.
  • "b" is the y-intercept.

Thus, given the linear equation:

C = 22.5 - (\frac{1}{160}) m,

C represents y

m represents x

-\frac{1}{160} represents the slope (m)

22.5 represents b.

Therefore, the slope of the linear equation, C = 22.5 - (\frac{1}{160}) m, is: -\frac{1}{160}

What’s the answer for this question
Masteriza [31]

Answer:

x=28

Step-by-step explanation:

degrees of a triangle is always 180

2x+3x=5x

5x - 10 + 50

5x + 40

180 - 40 = 140

5x = 140

140/5 = 28

Solve for x:<br> 3/4 Y -7=5
olchik [2.2K]

Answer:

16

Step-by-step explanation:

3/4y-7=5

*multiply both sides of the equation by 4

= 3y-28=20

*move <u>constant</u> to the right-hand side and change its sign

=3y=20+28

*add the numbers <u> </u>

=3y=48

*divide both numbers by 3

and that's how you get 16
