Answer: 1st poem

The land is in a constant state of birth,

Giving life to all who live on Earth.

Our carelessness and fears

Have taken a toll over the years.

Her land is parched and scorched

As man continues to light the torch.

We continue a want of speed and ease,

All while our pesticides kill off our bees.

It's time to wake up and see Mother Earth's pain.

Humanity's selfishness is becoming insane.

Soon her cries will turn to gloom,

And man will cause its own doom.

2nd poem

Broken bottles and charred pieces of glass,

Wadded up newspapers tossed on the grass,

Pouring of concrete and tearing out trees.

This is the environment that surrounds me?

Poisons and insecticides sprayed on our food,

Oceans filling with thick oil crude.

All sea life destined to a slow, awful doom.

These are the things we are to consume?

Mills pumping out iron, expelling yellow fumes,

Airlines emitting caustic gases from fuels,

Weapons of destruction tested at desolate sites.

And this is the air that's to sustain life?

There has to be something that someone can do,

Like raise the awareness to those around you

That if we don't heed the problem at hand

It's your life that's at stake, the destruction of man.

I need help, can someone please help me! I need to write a two stanzas poem with the ryhme scheme as ABCBBB (16 15 16 15 7). the
mr Goodwill [35]

          Key thing to think about:

- the rhyme scheme as ABCBBB means that "B" lines will all rhyme with the last word

- I think "16 15 16 15 7" is talking about syllable count, so we need to make sure our first line has 16 syllables, etc

I am afraid of the water, as it can be scary down deep

With the unknown terrors lurking beneath the murky, dark blue

The things we do not know under the surface cause me great dread

For unless I find out, these unknown frights will be ringing true

     Because I cannot see through

These great fears of the depths are mighty, and will never go askew

Thinking about the extensive sea can make me queasy

The thoughts swirling of it swallowing you up with jaws of darkness

Your lungs fill quickly with water, unable to breath easy

     Leaves me hugely uneasy

(I am not actually afraid of water lol, but there are a lot of words you can use haha! I hope this will work for your assignment!)

Have a nice day!

I hope this is what you are looking for, but if not - comment! I will edit and update my answer accordingly. (ノ^∇^)

Allisa [31]

Answer:

The type of organization structure Machiavelli uses int he passage is: compare and contrast.

Explanation:

In the passage we are analyzing here, Machiavelli first establishes that he will talk about Spartans and Romans. That being done, he initially offers information only about the Spartans. Then, he moves on to offer information about the Romans, comparing their actions and decisions to those of the Spartans. This is a typical compare and contrast structure, more specifically a block structure. All information about one of the elements is offered. Then, all the information about the other elements is offered. The purpose is to find similarities or dissimilarities between them.
