X1=9 and X2=8

Explanation:

to find x-int sub f(x)=0

0=(x-8)(x+9)

then solve for x and thats how i got the answer!

Many followed the idea of Social Darwinism or "Survival of the fittest" meaning those cut out for society would live and those not would perish. Those who were rich found them selves higher up in class and deemed themselves superior.
