People die in tsunmani because it is very power waves that could drown people .and could drag people in to the water .But think its caused by sea level rise but then I guess when that happens it creates big strong waves. This most likely happens common on islands such as Hawaii.

Some people could drown in tsunamis other people could get stuck in the waves and crash into hard objects.

What is one conclusion you can draw about changing political boundaries in africa represented on the maps?
frutty [35]

Answer:

The main conclusion that can be determined by observing the map of Africa is that the borders of the nations of modern Africa were determined by the colonial powers that distributed the territories of the continent after the Berlin Conference. Thus, the present borders of the continent do not respect the historical nationalities that the African tribes give each other, with which ethnic conflicts occur in many of these nations, especially in central Africa. Thus, although today it is a practically impossible situation, in case of wanting to respect the historical nationalities of the peoples of the continent, the current national borders should be modified taking into account the ethnic, social and cultural differences of its inhabitants.

sleet_krkn [62]

Answer:

The correct answer is: a) it relies on testimony from people.

Explanation:

The Mercalli intensity scale, unlike the Richter scale, does not directly measure the energy of an earthquake. Rather, it takes into account the damage and effects that the earthquake caused. When there is little damage, it relies on the testimony of people who felt the earthquake, which may vary and is ultimately subjective to people's perception.

The Mercalli Intensity Scale ranges from "Not felt" to "Catastrophic" going through 12 scale intensities.
