Answer:

Alcoholic fermentation deals with the production of ethanol from pyruvate.

Explanation:

During fermentation the end product of glycolysis known as pyruvate undergoes reduction to generate acetaldehyde by the catalytic activity of pyruvate decarboxylase enzyme which removes one carbon atom from pyruvate thus leading to the formation of acetaldehyde. In this reaction NAD+ is regenerated by the oxidation of NADH.

The acetaldehyde that is formed from pyruvate undergo further reduction to form ethanol by the activity of alcohol dehydrogenase enzyme.NAD+ is also regenerated in this reaction.

What is an observation
vagabundo [1.1K]
Hello!

Could be either:

The action or process of observing something or someone carefully or in order to gain information.

Or

A remark, statement, or comment based on something one has seen, heard, or noticed.

And in Science:

An 'observation' in the scientific sense, is when you make a measurement or evaluation of some sort. You would usually make a note of how something has changed sine the previous ovbservation. Maybe the temperature has changed: gone up one degree; or a crystal has grown: maybe it is now .1 centimeters longer.

"Observations" usually implies that you are watching some process, and either measuring or noting the change that has taken place. usually you will also want to note the time of the observation, so that you can have an idea of how quickly (or slowly) the changes are occurring.
