A local train has departed from the station A at ten o'clock with the speed of 55 km/h. One and a half of an hour later an expre

ss has departed from the station B, which is 360 km far from the station A, and it went toward the local train with the speed of 130 km/h. At what time and how far from the station A will the two trains meet ?

Answer:

!0.00...........360 km..........................

.........>........................................<......11.30

55km/h                               130 km/h

Step-by-step explanation:

in a one and a half hour the distance between the train will be

360- 55*1,5=277.5 km

in an hour the distance between the trains is less with 55+130=185 km

to meet the trains , the distance between them should be zero

277.5 - 185*x=0

+185 x             +185 x

277.5=185x

x=277.5/185 hours

x= 1.5 hours  after 11.30

They meet at 13.00

the distance will be   55*3 =165 km from the station A

Answer: A = $1503.6

Step-by-step explanation:

We would apply the formula for determining compound interest which is expressed as

A = P(1 + r/n)^nt

Where

A = total amount in the account at the end of t years

r represents the interest rate.

n represents the periodic interval at which it was compounded.

P represents the principal or initial amount deposited

From the information given,

P = 1000

r = 6% = 6/100 = 0.06

n = 1 because it was compounded once in a year.

t = 7 years

Therefore,.

A = 1000(1 + 0.06/1)^1 × 7

A = 1000(1.06)^7

A = $1503.6

Write the expression as either the sine, cosine, or tangent of a single angle.
olya-2409 [2.1K]
There exists a trigonometric identity which states that,
                  sin (A - B) = sin A cos B - cos A sin B
This is very similar to the given expression with A equal to 57° and B equal to 13°. The simplified form of the angle is,
                                 sin (57° - 13°) = sin 44°

Which system below has no solution?
Alex787 [66]

Answer:

Step-by-step explanation:

A system has no solution if the 2 (or more) functions that make up the system do not intersect.  The only pair of functions here that do not have an intersection is found in D. You could graph these 2 on a graphing calculator to see that this is true.
