<em>Eurocentrism</em> is the term that theorists use to refer to much of what has been written about culture in the Western world based on the uncritical assumption that European culture is the true, universal culture in which all of the world's people ought to believe. It is a worldview that only takes into consideration Western Europe's culture as the only possible point of view.
