One of the more famous was ON THE ROAD by Jack Kerouac. It was written on a "roll" of typing paper, not individual sheets. The possible fact that Kerouac was doing 'speed' while writing helped to intensify the stream of writing. A very good book often overlooked for its importance and significance.
