Answer:

There are many similarities and differences, Ill go through them

Explanation:

The Gilded Age politics centered around low management of large corporations, allowing them to make massive amounts of money and to take control over their employed by cutting their wage and accepting giant tax cuts from the U.S government. Presidents like Rutherford B. Hayes and Ulysses S. grant allowed corruption into Congress and the White House and did nothing about big business, as long as the economy was growing after the wake of The Civil War. Similarities today include Republican presidents, tax cuts for big businesses in corona virus stimulus and and mild corruption. Differences are just coming out of a war and being in massive debt.

In the American, Enlightenment thought led to an attack on
adelina 88 [10]

The Enlightenment led American colonists to attack their system of government that saw the British have absolute power.

The Enlightenment led to the American Revolution which saw the American colonists secede from Britain. It happened because:

  • The Enlightenment showed that a government that was not acting in the interests of the governed could be removed
  • The Enlightenment showed that a government's power should be limited unlike that of the British

In adhering to Enlightenment principles, the American colonists went to war with the British and defeated them.

We can therefore conclude that the Enlightenment led Americans to attack the British and its flawed system of government.
