The answer is choice D. Check out the attached image for the steps on how I got that answer.

I'm assuming the first '5' mentioned is an index. I'm also assuming choice D says 3^(7/10) where "7/10" is the exponent.

Jeremiah makes a recipe that calls for 1 1/2 cups of flour and 3/4 stick of butter. If Jeremiah uses 3 sticks of butter, how man
scoray [572]

Answer:

6 cups of flour

Step-by-step explanation:

we know that

the ratio of the recipe=(1 1/2)/(3/4)

1 1/2=1.5 cups of flour

3/4 stick of butter-------> 0.75 stick of butter

by proportion

1.5/0.75=x/3---------> 3*1.5=0.75*x

x=3*1.5/0.75----------> x=6 cups of flour

#3 4pts Lines rand s are parallel. Which of these is a pair of same-side interior angles? A 24 and 26 B 24 and 25 C 25 and 26 4
sergij07 [2.7K]

we know that

If lines m and n are parallel

then

m<1 and m<5 are corresponding angles

so

m<5=m<1

therefore

m<5=135 degrees

1. ABCD is a square with side length 12 cm.
AnnyKZ [126]

Answer:

Exact Area of shaded region = 141.39cm²

Step-by-step explanation:

Quadrant of a circle - Quadrant refers to the four quarters in the coordinate plane system. Each of the four sections is called a quadrant. When it comes to circle, the quarter of a circle is called a quadrant, which is a sector of 90°.

area of circle  =πr²

area of quadrant of a circle = πr²/4

where r is the radius of the circle.

In the given figure there are 2 types of quadrants of circle are present

one with radius AB (bigger )

another with radius AB/2 (smaller)

Now area of quadrant having radius = AB

⇒ π(AB) ²/4

here AB is the side of square

so AB = 12cm

substituting this in the area of quadrant formula

area of bigger quadrant = π(12²)/4

                               area₁ = 144×π/4

                                area₁ = 144×3.142/4

                                area₁ = 113.112cm²

now area of smaller quadrant = π(AB/2) ²/4

                                    area ₂   = π(6) ²/4

                                    area ₂   = 36π/4

                                    area ₂   = 9×π

                                     area ₂  = 28.278cm²

Now it is clear from the given figure,

area of shaded region is =    area₁ -   area₂ +2×area₂

                                         =     113.112cm² -  28.278cm² + 2× 28.278cm²

                                         =     113.112cm² +  28.278cm²

                                         =      141.39cm²   (answer)
