Answer:

The word perilous has a stronger connotation to emphasize that there is a risk of death

Explanation:

Perilous, even by definition, means <em>"off of danger or risk"</em>. Which, by itself, is already more than just <em>"dangerous"</em>. Also, another meaning that the word possesses is: <em>"exposed to imminent risk of disaster or ruin" </em>and knowing that, you can see how perilous might make it sound or feel even more dangerous or ominous than just "risky".

AURORKA [14]

Answer:

One time  showed leadership was when I was captain of the soccer team and guided my team to victory.

Explanation:

First of all I was not the elected captain, but the guy who was elected captain was injured and chosen me as his replacement because he believed I was a very responsible person that was fit to do the job. So, when we face the other team I was not even in an attacking position. I was in a defensive midfield position. Therefore, I had sight of all the field, my teammates, and their movements. So, I could provide feedback and real-time instructions to them. Making the defense very tight and managing to counter their attacks.

In-s [12.5K]
So basically what happened is that the lion - the king of the jungle and a big creature - was annoyed by the little mouse and was about to kill it. However, he saved its life because he thought the mouse was funny and thought that the little critter can't possibly help him in any way in the future. It turns out that he was proven wrong by the mouse when it saved his life when was caught in the trap.
