9/11 was 4 coordinated terrorist attacks. The attacks killed roughly 2,996 people, and injured over 6,000 others. The first two terrorist attacks happened to the World Trade Center in Manhattan.  The third plane hit the pentagon in Washington dc. The fourth attack crashed into a plane after the passengers fought back, but it was headed towards Washington DC. Both the towers had collapse roughly two hours after the first plane hit the towers.
