Answer:

The pandemic makes me pretty scared, cause it could affect anyone and some people don't even know it. It is affecting me because I have to do online learning now, and although my grades are getting better, my assignments are just piling up. I miss my friends, because i cant see tthem in quarintine. My life isn't so hard, but mainly because there isn't anything to really DO. The hardest part for me is that i won't be able to see any one my age until high school, or even AFTER that. It's pretty weird, wondering if I'll ever see my middle school teachers again.

Why was crossing rivers dangerous for the pioneers on the oregon trail
Travka [436]

Answer:

Crossing rivers were probably the most dangerous thing pioneers did. Swollen rivers could tip over and drown both people and oxen. Such accidents could cause the loss of life and most or all of valuable supplies. Animals could panic when wading through deep, swift water, causing wagons to overturn.
