Why is it good for a person to have good character qualities???

That's common sense. A person with good qualities will be loved by others first, than the one with bad qualities. Remember, the first impression matters. Good qualities shown in the first impression make a rise in your reputation on how others see you. Good character qualities = loved by others, accepted by others
