What is a general rubric?

English
2 answers:
Over [174]3 years ago

Answer:

C. a tool that has broad criteria that can apply to a variety of assignments

Explanation:

General rubrics occur when the description of work gives characteristics that apply to a whole family of tasks, so they contain criteria that are general across tasks. Besides, they are used to assess reasoning and skills, and the same rubric can be used across different tasks , although feedback may not be specific enough.

melisa1 [442]

Answer:

Based on word choice, Giblin feels:

B. that it was worthwhile.

Explanation:

We can easily eliminate options A and C, since there is nothing conveying a negative connotation in the excerpt. We are left with options B and D.

Let's take a look at option D first. It says Giblin thinks the process of obtaining copies of the stone was amazing. However, that is not what the word choice conveys. Had there been words such as "fantastic" or "incredible" in the excerpt, this option would have made sense. But that is not the case.

Option B is the only correct one. The excerpt uses words such as "fortunately", "good", and "clear". Those words convey the idea that the process the French used was worthwhile. It not only worked, but worked well, effectively.

15. What does Buck often dream of as he sleeps by the campfire? A. His fight with Spitz B. Primitive man C. Judge Miller's home
Bess [88]
I would say the correct answer is B. primitive man.
The point of the entire novel is that Buck is fighting his urges to go to the wilderness and succumb to his wild identity of a wolf. Thus, dreaming about the primitive man clearly portrays his struggle between his two identities, that of a domesticated dog and that of a wild wolf.

I NEED HELP ASAP!!!!!!!!!!In what way is T. C. Boyle’s "Top of the Food Chain" an example of satire?
Lena [83]
I believe the correct answer is C. it makes a point without directly stating it.
Satire is often used by authors who want to criticize something or someone without having to explicitly do that - they use metaphors in order to mock them without them realizing that they have been exposed to such ridicule. Boyle is trying to mock the government in his work by comparing its members to animals, which he does in order to conceal his true intentions.

Mrs. Louis could ask Mr.Hollembeak for further details about his findings and report.

The discussion aims to get the thruth about a possible leak of information by not properly encrypted files. Mr. Hollembeak defends himself stating that concerning his knowledge and responsabilities he is innocent of any negligence for his department's security protocol was up to date.

If Mrs. Louis wants to be an effective participant in the discussion she could ask Mr.Hollembeak further details about his findings and report in order to discover any contradictions in his statement and then feel free to move to another topic.
