Many towns and cities have instituted nighttime curfews for children under the age of 18. These curfew laws aim to reduce crimin

al mischief and to ensure the safety of young people. Opponents of curfews think that enforcing these laws causes too much extra work for police officers.
Consider both sides of this issue, and then create an outline that compares the two opposing views. Write a thesis statement for one of the viewpoints based on the ideas presented in your outline.

Pro-curfew: Enforcing a curfew to young people under 18 years old will help ensure their safety. Also, this will prevent them from joining unnecessary activities in the streets. This could also be a way in preserving them.

Anti-curfew: The police has something more important to do than watching over other people's children. Parents should be responsible of their children. They should be the one looking after them instead of passing the responsibility to the police.
