em. Construct a five paragraph essay. Here are some steps to help you complete this assignment: 1. Select a poem 2. Consider what literary devices or terms you'd like to analyze 3. Figure out how the literary devices impact the meaning of the poem 4. Construct a thesis 5. Make an outline 6. Write a five paragraphs (intro, three body paragraphs, conclusion) 7. Consider having each body paragraph analyze one specific literary device Example question: How do hyperbole, symbolism, and imagery impact Robert Frost's "Two Tramps in Mud Time"? How do motif and imagery impact Edgar Allen Poe's "Raven"? How does imagery and theme impact Tony Hoagland's "Jet"? Example thesis: • Literary devices in "Two Tramps in Mud Time" help convey how much the speaker feels a connection to his work. • Motif and imagery create a dark mood throughout Poe's Raven. • Through three clear images, Tony Hoagland conveys a nostalgic theme in "Jet," making clear the difference between "life" and "living."

Answer: I learned about the importance of forgiving

Explanation: I am a person with good feelings but before I always had a hard time forgiving others. It was difficult for me since I understood that others did not have to hurt me, so when I did not forgive I was filled with resentment. Over time I learned that forgiveness is the healthiest way to leave the past behind. You do not forgive yourself to make the other feel happy, but you forgive yourself to feel peace with yourself. Also through forgiveness, I learned that people often act in the way they have learned.
