rges. Company B charges $5 per hour and an additional $60 as service charges. Part A: Write an equation to represent each company's total charges for renting a truck for a certain number of hours. For both equations (one for Company A and one for Company B), define the variable used. (4 points) Part B: Which company would charge less for renting a truck for 6 hours? Justify your answer. (3 points) Part C: How much money is saved by using the services of Company B instead of Company A to rent a truck for 7 hours? (3 points)

A(h)=4h+70, A(h)=dollars to rent for h hours, h=hours rented.

B(h)=5h+60,  same variable explanations...

....

To compare the two values at 6 hours you have:

A(6)=4(6)+70=24+70=$94

B(6)=5(6)+60=30+60=$90

So at 6 hours Company B would charge $4 less than Company A

...

Savings at 7 hours of rental by using B instead of A is:

S(h)=A(h)-B(h)

S(h)=4h+70-5h-60

S(h)=-h+10

S(7)=-7+10=$3

So at 7 hours, Company B saves you $3.

Which of the following conditions would guarantee that triangles are identical?
7nadin3 [17]

Answer: Two triangles have the same side lengths (Ex: both triangles have sides 3, 4, and 5 cm)

Step-by-step explanation:

1) This would guarantee similarity, but not necessarily that they are identical.

2) The angle has to be included between the two sides, which is not specifed.

3) This would work (SSS congruence)

4) It is not specified if the side is opposite the corresponding angles.

A new car is purchased for 19000 dollars. The value of the car depreciates at 11.25% per year. What will the value of the car be
ioda

Answer: The answer is 3573.64

Step-by-step explanation:

Exponential Functions:

y=ab^x

a=starting value = 19000

r=rate = 11.25%=0.1125

Exponential Decay:

b=1-r=1-0.1125=0.8875

Write Exponential Function:

y=19000(0.8875)^x

Plug in time for x:

y=19000(0.8875)^14

y= 3573.6388855

Evaluate :

y≈3573.64
