So we know the formula for circumference is C= πrd. And Circumference is the distance around a circle.

Example: C= circumference
C= 6.28 can u find the  circles area :?
 Step 1: divide 6.28 by 3.14 as the formula says.

Step 2 : after u divided u get 2 which is the diameter. and u divide the diameter by 2 because we are trying to get the radius because the formula for the circles area is
A= πr ^2

r = radius
r= 1

so what is 3.14 times 1
= 3.14

so 3.14 is the answer

I hope this helped u understand.

Answer:

Pi is a number that is approximated by 3.14, or 22/7. It is the ratio of the circumference to the diameter of any circle. This ratio can be rearranged to find circumference of a circle by multiplying pi times diameter.

Mila [183]

Answer:

<em>H</em>₀: <em>μ</em> = 4 vs. <em>H ₐ</em>: <em>μ </em>> 4

Step-by-step explanation:

A null hypothesis is a sort of hypothesis used in statistics that intends that no statistical significance exists in a set of given observations.

It is a hypothesis of no difference.

It is typically the hypothesis a scientist or experimenter will attempt to refute or discard. It is denoted by H₀.

Whereas, the alternate hypothesis is the contradicting statement to the null hypothesis.

The alternate hypothesis describes direction of the hypothesis test, i.e. if the test is left tailed, right tailed or two tailed.

It is also known as the research hypothesis and is denoted by H ₐ.

In this case we need to test whether the amount is paid after the grace period, on average, more than 4 times in 2018.

The hypothesis can be defined as follows:

<em>H</em>₀: <em>μ</em> = 4 vs. <em>H ₐ</em>: <em>μ </em>> 4

Suppose that events a and b are mutually exclusive with p(a) = ½ and p(b) = ⅓.
irina1246 [14]
No, a & b are not independent if they're mutually exclusive.

Mutually exclusive means the two events cannot occur simultaneously. So if "a" happens "b" cannot. In contrast, two events are independent if the occurrence of one has no effect on the occurrence of the other.
