Here below is a short poem using the words in their proper meaning.

Explanation:

A polyphony of litany rang across the church with the wind

and carried its shrill to the harbor----

Where the ship awaits consent to commence

On its journey to the distant shores.

The regimen of the fleet to await---

The blessings of the church

Overpowered by the Charisma of the new captain

Who favored the favorable tides to the God.

The words here are used according to their main meaning and not due to a fringe meaning they may have.

This poem uses the words in a narrative sense of them in a free verse. Hope this is of some help.

6. What might be the author's purpose for writing in first-person point of view?
Vikentia [17]

Answer:

I believe your answer would be so the character can directly share his or her thoughts with the reader.

Explanation:

A is the only option that makes sense because choice B would be Third-Person omniscient, while C would most likely be either Third-Person omniscient or limited. Either way, First-Person shares the narrator's point of view, so the reader cannot know more than the character does.

Explanation:

The tense we use to talk about things that are happening right now is called the present tense. Depending on the nature of the actions/events we're talking about, we can use one out of four types of the present tense: the present simple, present continuous, present perfect simple, or present perfect continuous tense.

We use the present simple tense when we want to talk about fixed habits or routines, i.e. things that don't change.

We use the present continuous tense when we want to talk about actions or conditions that are happening now, frequently, and may continue into the future.
