Complete the following sentences. Francis Crick’s Central Dogma of molecular biology explains the flow of genetic information, from DNA to RNA, to make a functional product, protein. This process requires transcription of the DNA into messenger RNA and then translation from mRNA into polypeptids.

Explanation:

During transcription, the template strand of DNA is read by the enzyme known as DNA polymerase, and used to generate a complimentary strand known as messenger RNA (mRNA), the mRNA then undergo translation as its base pairs are converted into amino acid. These amino acids are joined together in a sequence of polypeptide chain by the help of transfer RNA (tRNA).

Simply put, DNA makes RNA, and RNA makes protein.
